A full week of home hosting by the club in Naucalpan de Juarez, a residential suburb of Mexico city
with an active schedule of sightseeing. Return home or continue on to:
Home Hosted Exchange:
Journey through 4,000 years of
history and get to know the real Mexican people. Our Friendship Force hosts will escort us as we discover ancient Aztec
ruins and Spanish colonial palaces in the heart of a vibrant modern city. We will explore the art and artifacts at the
Anthropology Museum, visit a museum devoted to Friday Kahlo. We will also tour the amazing Tehtihuacan Pyramids, visit
the Basilica of Guadalupe and enjoy mariachi music while floating on a barge through the canals of Oxchilmilco. We will
also enjoy an evening performance of the Folkloric Ballet at the Fine Arts Palace.
There will be
time also for individual activities with your host families and a Welcome and Farewell Dinner.
The
land only cost including the extensive sightseeing with local transportation, admissions, lunches out, is estimated to be
$450 per person. Not including travel insurance. Friendship Force strongly encourages travel insurance and details
will be provided to interested participants.
You need a valid passport, but no visas.
